If so, Rolling Hills Consolidated Library has the service for you! Deposit sites are set up in many of the small communities around the county, making books easily accessible to everyone! The deposit sites are stocked with a variety of adult hardback books, paperbacks and a selection of juvenile and children’s books that the library owns multiple copies of or that have been donated- usually about 150 books total. Every month, the books are switched out and new ones are put in their place. Residents can take what they like and return the books when they are finished. In addition to many rural deposit sites, there are a dozen community sites around the city of Savannah where the Rolling Hills Consolidated Library furnishes a variety of books that have been donated to the library. The boxes of 15-20 books are located in waiting rooms of doctors offices, hair salons, and at the county courthouse and can also be taken home and returned at a later time. For more information about the Savannah community sites, contact Paula at (816) 324-4569.
