Duncan Park and Clasbey Community Center
Savannah boasts an outstanding parks and recreation system, featuring the 90 acre Harry F. Duncan Memorial Park with the 25 acre Messick Park.
Duncan Park features modern lighted tennis courts, multi-purpose courts, volleyball courts, walking/jogging trails, fishing lakes, along with baseball and softball fields.
The Clasbey Community Center, also located at Duncan Park at 500 W. Duncan, has adequate facilities for a wide range of community functions from banquets to business meetings. Youth Sports Complex

Duncan Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole course city-owned and operated. For more information, check out the golf course on the web.
The beautiful tree-shaded Messick Park features the two shelter houses, Gordon W. Johnson Memorial Softball Field, basketball courts, tennis courts, a large shaded picnic area with state-of-the-art playground equipment and the municipal swimming pool. For more information on renting a shelter house(s), call City Hall at (816) 324-3315.
Savannah Municipal Pool opens Memorial Day and closes in August. Hours are: 1PM to 8 PM. daily. Season passes are available. The temperature of the pool must be at least 72 degrees for the pool to open. To get more information, call the pool information line at: 324-7561 to listen to if the pool will be open and any events information. Bowling lanes are located in the city, and a roller skating rink in the county. Above average hunting and fishing are found in the area with numerous camping facilities also available. Happy Holler wildlife area is located only minutes away, North East of the city. The Savannah City Reservoir is West of the city, where public fishing and picnic areas are located.
