For demolition and site clearance
Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Savannah, Missouri, at City Hall, 402 Court St., Savannah, MO 64485 until 10:00 am on the 8th day of October, 2014, and will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid results will be discussed and approved by the City Council. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes marked DEMOLITION OF OLD WATER PLANT.
The City desires bids for the demolition, disposal of debris of old water plant and 500,000 gal steel ground tank. Salvage to be applied to the cost of demolition. Must comply with all state and local regulations including prevailing wage. Detailed specifications available at City Hall. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and waive any and all formalities. The City Council will accept the bid, which it deems to be in the best interest, and will not necessarily be bound to accept the lowest bid.
